Originally this was a product which was designed for parents or carers of babies who had trouble bending or stooping to pick up, lie them down or move them easily. What is the BUNDL?
This is similar to a hammock in that it pulls up around the baby providing support to the head, neck and spine whilst the padded hood protects the babies’ crown and “soft spot”. With added safety handles parents can securely lift their newborn, carry them, and place down the infant with just one hand as well as moving them without waking them up from say a car seat to a pram.
It will fit into car seats, prams, pushchairs, cots, cribs and carrycots at ease because of its design. You can wrap your baby in the BUNDL and tie it so that they cannot kick it open; whilst they sleep all snug, cosy and warmth you can transport them from place to place without much disturbance being made.
Babies feel safe within the BUNDL and it’s almost like being close and cosy inside the womb whilst being extremely safe and secure for lifting and moving.
To wrap your baby in the BUNDL then you need to follow these simple steps:
- Roll back the hood before placing your baby in a central position on the BUNDL but always place them on their back and never on their front.
- Fold any excess material over your baby’s feet if required obviously for smaller babies there will be more excess but do not worry – its more room for them to grow!
- Wrap the baby in the BUNDL by folding the left side over the right and tying the ribbon through the top handle.
- The hood should be rolled back when the baby is horizontal in the BUNDL and the material needs to be moved away from the face ensuring your baby is not too hot when fully wrapped up but key is to ensure you can always see your babies face.
